This policy explains what personal information Divorce Strength collects, why, and what your rights are. We've kept it in plain English on purpose.
1. Who we are
Divorce Strength is run by Andrew Heath, a sole trader, trading as Divorce Strength.

Andrew is the "data controller," which just means he's responsible for deciding what data gets collected and why.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you interact with the site, we may collect:
- Contact details — name and email, when you sign up for the free masterclass or enrol on the course
- Course activity — your progress through lessons, and any answers you give in workbooks or optional surveys (for example, if you tell us which lawyer referred you)
- Payment details — when you buy the paid course, your billing name, address and payment method. We don't see or store your full card details ourselves; our payment processor handles that (see section 5)
- Correspondence — anything you send us by email or through a call booking
- Technical data — your IP address, browser and device type, and pages you visit on the site, collected automatically through cookies (see section 4)
We don't collect any more than we need for the above.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

You can withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
4. Cookies and tracking
The site uses cookies for two things:
- Essential cookies — needed for the site and Kajabi checkout to work
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, which helps us understand how people find and use the site
Analytics cookies are optional. When you first visit the site, you'll see a cookie banner (powered by CookieScript) where you can accept or decline these. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the site footer, or by clearing your cookies.
5. Who we share your data with
We don't sell your data. We do share it with a small number of trusted services that help us run Divorce Strength:
- Kajabi — hosts the website and course, and processes payments (via its payment processor) when you buy the paid course
- Airtable — our internal system for keeping track of referrals and outreach with the lawyers who refer people to the course
- Cal.com — if you book a call with Andrew
- Google — if you've consented to analytics cookies
- CookieScript — manages your cookie consent choices
Each of these only receives the data it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy commitments as data processors.
6. Where your data is stored
Some of the services above (including Kajabi and Airtable) store data outside the UK, mainly in the US. Where that happens, they're required to use approved safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data to UK standards.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as you're an active course member or subscriber, plus a reasonable period after in case you come back. Financial records connected to any payment are kept for 6 years, as required by UK tax law. After that, we delete or anonymise your data.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your data
- Ask for your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we're using

9. Keeping your data safe
We use reputable providers (Kajabi, Airtable, Google, CookieScript) who maintain their own security standards, and we only give access to your data to people who need it to run Divorce Strength.
10. Children
Divorce Strength is for adults going through divorce. It isn't intended for, or knowingly targeted at, anyone under 18.
11. How to complain
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, we'd rather you told us first at [email protected] so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business changes (for example, when the paid course launches). We'll update the date at the top when we do.
